A Son of Volta, A Leader for Ghana

Erasmus Alexander Kwabla Kalitsi was a distinguished Ghanaian public servant and visionary leader, celebrated for his monumental contributions to Ghana's energy sector. As Chief Executive of the Volta River Authority (VRA), he spearheaded the modernization of the nation's power infrastructure and was instrumental in expanding the West African Power Pool (WAPP).

His career began with resettling over 80,000 people displaced by the Volta Lake, a role he handled with great humanity. A true gentleman, his integrity, humility, and dedication left an indelible mark on all who knew him. His legacy is one of transformative leadership and unwavering service to his nation.
